Behance Japan Tokyo Community is collaborating with Panasonic on social project where we bring “Luminary Zoo” as a designed solar lanterns to the people who are living without electricity.
The project is called “Cut out the darkness”.
We believe that creative power will become the light for every single lantern, brightening people’s lives, and going beyond the wall of borders and languages.
"The Deers Are Coming" celebrates Indonesia's traditional folklores and fairytales, in which passed on from generation to generation through children stories and carved onto woods and stones we can find in historical temples and traditional handcrafts
The illustration tells a story of an enchanted forest, where a pack of deers who reside there carry out hundreds of lanterns of pure starlight throughout the forest as soon as the sun goes down, therefore the nights are never truly dark.
I was born and raised in Indonesia. Everything that I am now, simply a tree in which the seed was nurtured and grown from where I came from. This project is our chance to contribute and share our knowledge and skills as designers, in attempt to help solve problems through creative solutions.
